Terms & Conditions
These terms cover your use of TicketLess. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Nothing here overrides your Privacy Policy rights, and where the App Store's own terms apply to a purchase, those take precedence over anything below.
What TicketLess does — and doesn't — do
TicketLess detects when you've likely parked at a car park and reminds you to pay before a charge is incurred. It's a reminder tool, not a guarantee. We don't control car park operators, their signage, their pricing, or their enforcement decisions, and detection relies on your phone's location and network conditions, which can occasionally be delayed, inaccurate, or fail entirely (for example if location permission is changed, the phone is offline, or iOS limits background activity). You're responsible for your own parking payments and for checking your vehicle isn't at risk of a charge — TicketLess is there to help you avoid missing one, not to accept that responsibility on your behalf.
Appeal letters
Appeal letters are drafted from the information you provide and general knowledge of UK parking appeal processes (POPLA for BPA-accredited operators, IAS for IPC). They are not legal advice, and TicketLess doesn't guarantee any appeal will succeed. You're responsible for checking a letter is accurate before sending it, and for meeting any deadline the operator or appeals body sets — we don't track those deadlines for you.
Your account and data
TicketLess has no account or login — there's nothing to register for. Your data (car parks, vehicles, parking history, appeal drafts) is stored locally on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — car park locations, operator details, vehicle registrations — since the app relies on it to work correctly.
Purchases
TicketLess offers one-off purchases (such as a single appeal letter credit or Print & Post) and, where offered, an auto-renewing Premium subscription. All purchases are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store — we never see or store your payment details.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change over time; the current price applies at the time of purchase.
- An auto-renewing subscription charges to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown in the app at that time.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your device's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions — TicketLess can't cancel it for you.
- One-off purchases (a letter credit, Print & Post) are consumed when used and are not refundable except where required by law or Apple's own refund policy, which is handled by Apple, not by us directly.
Acceptable use
Use TicketLess for its intended purpose — your own parking. Don't use it to submit false information in an appeal, to interfere with the app's operation, or to attempt to access parts of it not intended for you.
No warranty, limitation of liability
TicketLess is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for parking charges, fines, or losses arising from a missed, delayed, or inaccurate reminder, or from an unsuccessful appeal. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, such as for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use TicketLess after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.
